This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience and achieve a recognised qualification while making a real difference to our customers and communities.

 

Working with our Housing Repairs Team at South Holland District Council you will learn hands on across a wide range of trades, including electrical, carpentry, plastering and plumbing trades.  With one day release per week at Stamford College, we are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn whilst contributing to the ongoing success of our internal repairs team

 

As an apprentice, you will:

  • Learn practical construction and maintenance skills in a supportive working environment.
  • Gain valuable experience in improving and maintaining homes in the Social Housing sector
  • Receive on-the-job training from experienced colleagues
  • Work towards a nationally recognised qualification
  • Learn core skills of working within a team towards common goals
  • Contribute to meaningful projects and day-to-day activities

 

We are looking for a dedicated leader with significant experience in property repairs, maintenance and construction-based health and safety.

You will:

  • Hold GCSE equivalent level 4/C in Maths and English
  • Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Be reliable, enthusiastic and motivated
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Have good communication skills
